Thanksgiving and New Moon

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I did! My parents and my sister and my Granddaddy came down from NC, as did my sisters-in-law. We all got together at my mother-in-law’s house. There were fifteen of us at table on Thursday! And that’s not counting all the dogs…

On Friday, I got to see “New Moon” with Ginny (my sis-in-law) and Bobby. We should have left Bobby at home—all you girls know what I mean, I’m sure! Anyway… shirtless men aside, the movie was as irritating to me as the book. Bella just bothers me. I can imagine being that insecure and as a teenager I know I was to a certain extent. But I have never been able to tolerate that kind of person as the central character of a book or movie unless I get to see her grow and change. Don’t come to the end of your story as the exact same person you were when you started.
