Teenagers and me

I spent last weekend in North Carolina with a bunch of teens from my church. I drove a van full of them for three hours each way and had an absolute blast! (Don't get me started on hopping hippos...)

I learned a lot about that group of kids and a lot about myself. I realized that I'm really a fourteen-year-old in a forty-one-year-old body. I spun on the kitchen floor in my socks, wiggled my toes in my monkey slippers, drank way too much Pepsi, and took lots of pictures with other people's cameras. I giggled a lot, ate s'mores by a bonfire, and stayed up until 3:00 in the morning the first night. I only made it 'til 2:00 the second night.

I'm such a wimp.
